Palazzo Pools: 7 Things You Should Know (Pool FAQ)
The Palazzo pools are some of the most iconic and well-known pools in Las Vegas, and visitors often want to spend some time by the pool in a city that brings some serious heat. However, there are some things you should know before your visit.
You can enjoy the Palazzo pools if you’re a guest at the Palazzo or Venetian hotels or if you’re visiting the TAO Beach Dayclub. The pools were renovated in 2021, and you can spend your time on the pool deck relaxing in a cabana, eating and drinking, shopping, or partying.
This article will explore everything you need to know about the Palazzo pools in Las Vegas before you visit. Let’s get to it!

1. Palazzo or Venetian Resort Guests Have Pool Access
You might be able to sneak into the pools, but technically, only the Palazzo and Venetian Resort guests are supposed to have access. The same company owns the two hotels, so staying at either one gives you complete pool access.
If you’re coming directly from the airport, you’ll need to arrange your own transportation because the Palazzo does not offer an airport shuttle service. I recommend reading my article on if the Palazzo has an airport shuttle for more information.
Additionally, if you’re headed to one of these hotels and have a rental car or drive your own, both hotel properties have plenty of free parking. I suggest reading my guide on free parking at the Venetian and Palazzo Las Vegas.
If you’re not a guest at either hotel, you can still access the pools when you visit the Aquatic Dayclub or TAO Beach Dayclub, which come with their own entry costs.
2. There Are 11 Pools at The Palazzo and The Venetian
There are 11 pools in total between The Palazzo and The Venetian. The Venetian pool deck has four large pools, including infinity pools, a spa pool, and a splash pad for kids. Meanwhile, The Palazzo pool deck has the other seven, which are heated, so the guests can stay comfy even when the temps aren’t blisteringly hot.
Attendants are available at all the pools to assist and give you any towels you need. You’ll also have access to showers and dressing rooms.
3. The Palazzo Pools Were Renovated in 2021
The Palazzo pools were renovated in 2021, so if you’re planning to visit, you’ll find a whole array of new amenities. The most exciting of which, in my opinion, is the brand-new cocktail menu from the legendary barman and cocktail master Sam Ross.
For sun worshipers, check out my article on the amount of sunshine in the palazzo pool area. There I’ve discussed more about the Palazzo swimming pool area so you can decide what to do there and whether it’s worth your time.

4. There Are 55 Cabanas To Choose From
If you’re visiting the pools, you’ll probably want to rent a cabana. You can choose from 55 of them that vary in size from 180 to 1,450 square feet (16.7 to 134.7 square meters).
Cabana pricing varies greatly, from $450 for one of the less luxurious cabanas from Monday through Friday to $600 or more on weekends. You can reserve a cabana with the concierge at the Venetian or the Palazzo or by email or phone. You can also learn more about the specific cabanas, their cost, and their amenities here (.pdf).
5. You Can Eat and Drink at CAPRI or Spritz
The CAPRI Pool Restaurant and Bar offers delicious food with design elements inspired by the island of Capri in Italy. The food offerings are varied and unique, including the following:
- A celebration beach ball dish with confetti cake, rainbow ice cream, and sprinkle cookies
- Everything bagel with scallion cream cheese, arugula, tomato, capers, and lox
- Pepperoni pizza with mozzarella cheese, tomato sauce, and arugula
- Crunchy sushi roll with shrimp, cream cheese, soy glaze, and asparagus
The Spritz Restaurant and Bar is another great poolside option, where you can choose from the following yummy dishes:
- Avocado toast with pistachio, chile, and radish
- Pistachio hummus with grilled pita and vegetables
- Acai bowl with berries, granola, coconut, and banana
- Blackened fish tacos with cilantro slaw, pineapple pico, and sriracha aioli
- Strawberry cheesecake sandcastle with vanilla cheesecake, strawberry jam, and ice cream
These restaurants also offer various drink options, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic choices. You’ll probably want to get lots of drinks, too, because the Palazzo pool deck can get hot, especially from midday to late afternoon. For more information, check out my article on if the Palazzo pool gets a lot of sun.
6. There’s Even a Palazzo Pool Retail Shop
If you forgot a pool essential, don’t worry because the Palazzo pools feature a retail shop that sells everything you need for a successful pool adventure, including the following:
- Tanning lotion
- Sunscreen
- Sunglasses
- Goggles
- Floaties
- Men’s swimwear
- Women’s swimwear
- Cigarettes
- Magazines
Visiting the shop is also a great way to take a break from lounging under the sun and spend some time doing some good, old-fashioned retail therapy.
7. You Can Party at the TAO Beach Dayclub
If you’re the partying type, TAO Beach Dayclub is a great option within the Palazzo/Venetian resort to let loose and have a great time.
The TAO Beach Dayclub was recently reinvented and is a beautiful Asian-inspired oasis with cabanas, pools, and a sound and lighting system that’ll have you excited to start dancing. The club has various featured artists throughout the year, including Chris Lake, Fisher, Sofi Tukker, and Tyga.
The cocktail menu features unique drinks such as the following:
- The Jade Scorpion, with Ketel One vodka, St. Germain Elderflower, and Matcha Green Tea
- The Ichigo Gin & Tonic, with Japanese gin, strawberries, juniper, bay leaf, lemon, and tonic
- The Nirvana, with tequila, passionfruit, ginger, lime, Thai chili, and Red Bull
