You’ll have two options to choose from on this ride – the Zip Line and the Zoom Line. On the lower line, riders take off in a seated position from seven stories high and go halfway (two city blocks) down the Fremont Street Experience.
On the Zoomline, riders take off from higher up in a “Super-hero” flying position and travel the entire length of the street (5 blocks). Specifically, this wire sets off from eleven levels in the air and travels a total of 1,750 feet!
The Fremont Street Experience has an immersive light show that plays on the ceiling of the canopy built over the entire pedestrian area, and this line runs just under this canopy and offers not only an amazing view of the lights, you’ll also fly over the huge crowds of people partying on the street below.
SlotZilla Discount
Because it’s always nice to pay less for something you want to do, I recommend checking Groupon for Slotzilla discount tickets. They’re not always available, but they are a great deal when they are.
SlotZilla Rules
Guests of this attraction must weigh at least 50 lbs to fly. In contrast, Zoomline guests must be a minimum of 80 lbs to ride. The maximum weight limit on both of these rides is 300 pounds. Guests must be no taller than 6 ft. 8 inches. There aren’t any age limits as long as the rider falls within the weight guidelines. Finally, guests under 16 must be accompanied by another rider (on their own separate line, of course) who is 16 or older.
The only downside to the zip wires on Fremont Street in downtown Las Vegas is that the lines to ride can become quite long on weekend nights, often an hour or more.

Besides being able to ride in either a seated or superhero position, Fly LINQ also gives you the option to fly backward in either of those positions! Due to not having as much space available, this line is a bit shorter than the others, but it’s still an amazing thrill and a fantastically exciting experience. The Linq zipline begins with the rider being launched from the top of the tower (12 stories high) and then traveling 1,121 feet at speeds that reach up to 35MPH.

4. Voodoo Zipline at Rio Hotel & Casino
* VooDoo at Rio is currently closed. I will update this if/when they reopen.
The Voodoo Zipline runs between the two separate towers of the Rio Hotel & Casino. It is the highest ziplining experience available (500 feet above ground). Because you’ll be so high above the skyline, you will have a fantastic view as you zip through the sky.
This attraction is designed to be ridden in a seated position with two seats connected side by side so you and your riding partner can grab onto each other as you’re dangling high above the landscape.
Details at a Glance:
- Website: Voodoo
- Cost: $34
- Length: 800 feet long
- Top Speed: 33 mph
- Address: 3700 W Flamingo Rd
- Operating Hours: Monday-Thursday 3pm-11pm, Friday-Sunday 11am-12am
By day, the view of the Strip and the surrounding Valley is pretty amazing, but if you decide to try ziplining at night, you’ll get the added bonus of enjoying the amazing lights of the Strip.
If you have other plans for your evening, that’s okay. The Voodoo line also provides for some great people-watching during the day, as you’ll get a wonderful view of all the people down in the pool below!
To access this attraction, you’ll need to head to the Rio Hotel and head up to the 52nd floor. This should give you a sense of just how high up this line actually is – it’s certainly not one for the faint-hearted!
The seat of the ride is quite small, which really adds to the sense of danger (in a good way, of course!). Despite this, this high-flying ride is quite safe, thanks to the seatbelt that keeps you securely in place.
Rio Ziplining Discount
The most cost-effective way to enjoy the Voodoo line at the Rio is to buy a pass on Groupon (if one is currently available). You’ll save a few bucks for a single rider and even more if you pick up passes for 2 or even 4 riders.
Rio also offers discounts on this attraction for locals and active military. Once you get to the bottom, you’ll be handed a discount coupon that will let you go again for a greatly reduced cost.
Rio Zip Line Rules
You will need to be at least 4 feet tall to ride the attraction with a combined weight between the two riders to be no greater than 450 lbs. Individuals must not weigh more than 300 lbs. Be sure to arrive early, as the tickets can sell out fast!
