– Boulder Creek Golf Club

Considered to be one of the best golf courses in the state of Nevada, Boulder Creek Golf Club is an excellent and challenging premier municipal course that is open year-round. Boasting three 9-hole courses, each offers various terrain and obstacles (including water hazards) to challenge even the most seasoned golfer. 

Requirements

A collared shirt and golfing attire is preferred. Metal spiked shoes are not permitted on this course.

Green fee for non-resident and guest rates:

  • $45 (all year): 9 holes  
  • $60 (low season) / $70 (high season): Twilight (after 1 pm ) 
  • $80 (low season) / $90 (high season): Late (after 11 am)

Nestled within three mountain ranges, Boulder City Municipal Golf Course is the sister course to Boulder Creek Golf Club and has earned the title of “Best Bargain Course in Southern Nevada” several years running by popular golf publications. Designed by renowned golf course architects Billy Casper and David Rainville, this traditional layout course offers 18 holes surrounded by native plants, abundant treescapes, and several water features.

– TPC Las Vegas

Opened in 1997, TPC Las Vegas is a par 71 desert-style course that spans over 7014 yards and is the PGA tour course of Las Vegas, providing an exciting and challenging course for professionals and non-professionals alike. The challenging layout is well known, and the back 9 holes are considered extremely challenging, with the 13th and 14th (par 4) holes nicknamed “Death Valley” and “Gorge-ous.“

They don’t come cheap, however, and for these courses, you can expect to pay between $300-1000 per round of golf, and some require you to stay in an accompanying hotel in order to have access to the course. Here’s a list of the top three courses in Vegas when money is no object. 

– Shadow Creek Golf Course

Established in 1990 by renowned architect Tom Fazio, the award-winning Shadow Creek Golf Course is synonymous with world-class golfing and has received numerous accolades, further increasing its reputation as one of the best golf courses in the world. The lush wilderness of the course is a surreal experience that transports you far from the bustle of the Vegas Strip, enticing all that are privileged to play there. 

Requirements

To play, you’ll need to make reservations at an accompanying hotel (the MGM Resorts International®), where you’ll be taken by limousine to the course and will be attended by your own personal caddie to guide you through the luscious surroundings of the course.

Greens fees are $1,000 per round during peak season (March-May and October-November) and $750 during off-peak times. It’s also ticketed as one of the most expensive courses in the world, although all agree that to experience this course is a truly magical and unforgettable experience.

The recently reinvented 18-hole championship course of The Wynn Golf Club is set on over 137 acres and located within easy access of the Las Vegas Strip. It features a 6,722-yard area, par-70 championship length course that’s built to accommodate golfers of more advanced skill levels.

To make a reservation, contact the golf concierge within the Wynn Hotel, or get in touch by phone on the number mentioned below. The dress code at the course requires all players to wear a collared shirt and golf pants. Shoes with golf spikes are also required.
